Harbwr provides practical, non-medical support through a clear monthly support model.
The standard monthly subscription gives older people ongoing practical support and coordination, while giving families a trusted local point of contact and greater peace of mind.
Standard monthly support
£200 per month
Practical, non-medical support and coordination for older people and families.
Support can include:
coordinating appointments and services
arranging transport and helping journeys run smoothly
practical coordination and follow-through
liaising with tradespeople, services and local organisations
helping connect people with local community support
regular check-ins, updates and family communication where agreed
Designed around a typical support level of around 6 hours per month.
If more support is needed
Sometimes a little extra support is needed—for example around appointments, changes at home, family absence or a more complicated situation.
Additional support beyond the usual monthly level is charged at:
£50 per hour
Additional support would be discussed and agreed in advance wherever possible.
Transport and third-party costs
Where transport is needed, fares such as taxis, public transport or parking are charged at cost.
These costs are added to the monthly invoice with a clear breakdown provided.
Harbwr does not add a markup to transport or third-party costs.
Rolling monthly support
Harbwr works on a rolling monthly basis.
You can cancel with 30 days’ notice.
This helps keep the service flexible if circumstances change.
Making practical support accessible
Harbwr is committed to making practical support accessible to people who would benefit from the service but may not be able to afford the standard monthly subscription.
We’re working to develop a small number of fully funded places through grants and community partnerships.
As funding becomes available, places will be offered to eligible individuals and families.
