Many families find themselves trying to coordinate appointments, transport, errands, paperwork, local services and follow-up — often alongside work, children, distance and everyday life.
Harbwr exists to help reduce that pressure through practical, non-medical support and coordination — keeping things organised, manageable and followed through.
Why Harbwr was created
There can be a gap between managing everything independently and needing formal care.
Harbwr was created to provide practical support within that gap — helping people stay independent and giving families someone trusted locally to help keep things on track.
A Community Interest Company
Harbwr is a Community Interest Company (CIC), which means Harbwr has been set up to create positive community benefit alongside providing its core service.
Our focus is on building a useful, sustainable service that helps older people remain independent and gives families greater peace of mind.
Any surplus can be reinvested into developing the service, improving accessibility and supporting more people locally.
Part of that commitment is our ambition to make practical support accessible to people who could benefit from the service but may not be able to afford it.
